A little Christmas Eve magic starting early

I used to work in a building that was constructed on a marsh wetland. Underneath the foundation was a hibernaculum for some of the areas many snakes. In spring they would literally emerge from (and sometimes in) the building. Anyway I hope they're all enjoying a nice winter rest right now
