That's when our checks and balances can begin to kick in. This is how we bring them back down to earth. This is how we win.

The minute they've lost that big initial burst of thrust, they begin to lose altitude and speed, and we can see clearly that their whole onslaught is a whole lot less shocking and awe-inspiring (though no less awful) than they told us it was. Everyone can see how small and flawed they are. /3
