Those past horrors were no longer tormenting or haunting her. Were the traumas forgotten? Of course not. But is she now released from their grip? Absolutely!
Doing the work, confronting the traumas, she’d become a beautiful expression of the joy & lightness she knew was already in her.

This time I could literally see, in her face & demeanour and hear in her voice & in the words she used, the sparkle of joy. She had truly bust through the negative legacy of some significant traumas she’d been carrying since childhood.

That happened recently when I spoke with a client I’ve worked with a couple of times, & who also attended some #thejourneymethod events.
Previously everything about her felt to be squashed beneath a dark cloud, a thick, heavy & almost unmoveable weight of despair and hopelessness.

From the profound to the profane and everything in between, raw and real. In that way we then allow space for something magical and magnificent the opportunity to show up, and ultimately and eventually the opportunity for real healing and freedom.

Even those of us who are Journey Practitioners and have done countless processes for ourselves and with others, we are reminded to come to each clearing process with humility. From that humility we can open with and into whatever is showing up honestly.
