The embedded ambiguities of international humanitarian law are being actively exploited by the IDF. The law is part of the problem. They will continue to insist on military necessity over civilian protection, hospital after hospital.

Reporters were shown IDF mapping of cell phone data in Gaza, with green areas indicating less data use. Presumes a lot about available electricity while under siege. IDF will use this to claim compliance with international humanitarian law obligations while displacing a population
