it feels like a lifetime ago,
and in many ways it is…
but for 4 years i spent half my time basically living in a van.
sleeping in parking lots & on people’s floors.
eating free food or whatever we could buy from the donation jar.
printed off maps.
multiple vans.
blown tires.

ok. this one is maybe more difficult than i was expecting. i’m trying to think of a band that meets this criteria.
glassjaw comes to mind.
i saw them with piebald & the juliana theory at the 930 club in dc in ‘02.
i didn’t know them. they came out & i expected… rapcore. and that was NOT it.
