Little Vader having a snooze

Whenever we see the Cosmos here it means Autumn is around the corner. Does it also grow on the side of the road and parks? Here it's seen as weed, we don't really plant it in our gardens. Here's a photo of Delta park in 2022 by Shirley Tebbutt

We had a massive storm on Wednesday. I was a little worried about an Egyptian geese family but thankfully they got through the storm.

Here are my photos. I have no idea if it's even a fungus but it's hard to the touch and it seems very attached. I don't think trees grow that way. Any info would be very much appreciated.

I wish I could leave twitter but sadly city power and city of Jhb are on there. Since the first of 1 Jan we have spent more time without power than actually having power. They don't really answer and when they do it's just nonsense but screaming into the abyss helps a little.

Vader has officially been neutered. He's as high as a kite and very cross about the whole situation. I think we need extra treats tonight.

For the last couple of months my beautiful doggy had an antibiotic resistant ecoli bladder infection. She was on very strong and dangerous antibiotics. Given her age, things were tricky. We tested today and it was clear. We still need keep testing but so far so good. It's a good day.

I can't believe I'm now a person who watches rugby. I still don't understand how it all works but yay we won. It was nail biting my nerves can't take this every weekend.
