It’s a sony/amazon issue. Season 1 could have at least had better sfx if they’d agreed to the overages needed. Also if they bothered with strong press or pushed back s2 to after the strike, things could have been very different. Amazon’s big shows get huge pr pushes. Audience follows press.

A big move of support would be to sell out the wot costume show. Most people can’t fly to prague but they can buy a ticket.

Re: rand: I think it’s implied that mat’s asked that question repeatedly for the past month. So that bit of dialogue gives us mat asking the right ethical question but also shows rand’s weariness there (and that he’s in over his head).

(He didn’t do it, though. It was the Fade.)
