Info for Washington DC show tomorrow.
Green background and white text that says: Washington, DC! Some info re Friday’s show. Tomorrow's show at DAR Constitution Hall is going ahead as planned. The team in DC is in contact with local authorities and can confirm that the venue is accessible. We are aware that there are road closures and possibly security check points that may affect your trip to the venue. Utilising public transit is strongly encouraged. DAR is accessible by metro via the Orange and Blue Lines to Farragut West or via the Red Line to Farragut North. For those driving, you may have to walk several blocks further than anticipated due to road closures and limited parking. For taxis/rideshares, the closest drop-off points will be approximately 3 blocks from the venue. Doors open at 7 and the show will begin at 8. Please allow for plenty of extra time to arrive and get settled in your seats. Thank you for bearing with us while we navigate this. We just want you to have a wonderful evening. I’m very lucky to have such incredible people around me. Tonight was the 250th show on the Late Bloomer tour. And these guys got cake and T shirts and balloons. Couldn’t be happier. 1/2
It’s the backstage gang in the dressing room. There are three ginormous gold balloons that say 2,5 and 0. Holding them are the backstage gang. Three of them have on white T shirts that say 2,5 or 0 and mine says 250. The fifth member of the backstage gang is in a black T shirt. We’re all gathered together and it looks like either a family photo or a Vanity Fair photo shoot. All smiling. Great day.

Me and the dog are enjoying the sun and also my big tall legs.
It’s a shadow of me and the dog. On the grass. He’s up in my arms so his head is only a little lower than mine. He’s the one with the pointy ears. Because of complicated science, I look like I’m really tall and am two thirds legs. A little sun on your face feels good doesn’t it?

The band is happy again. We got rid of the fourth recorder player and also our manager. We’re embarking on a new path. The triangle!

If you’re following the saga… after losing one of the Recorder Quartet, we carried on. But then today, we had an emergency band meeting where our manager made us take her back. She was thrilled with the decision (and the cash). Please zoom in, there is some great acting happening here.
It’s an office with 5 people around a table. The Recorder Trio all look livid. I’m looking furious with arms folded in a red and white Zuri dress, the other two members look furious and disbelieving. Also pictured is the former fourth member who is the only one smiling and she’s holding a bunch of fifties. And furthest right in the photo is our manager who has slammed his fist on the table. So I guess she’s back in the imaginary band.
