at the time. Afterall, I chose these books or someone chose them with me in mind, so they're all in with a good chance of being books that I'll enjoy.

So here's to a good year of reading intuitively and by vibes! (5/5)

of what had been on the pile the longest, give or take. Again, that worked for me fairly well for a good while, but recently I've been feeling frustrated by the self-imposed order of the system. Instead I'm just going to pick the book I want to read next based on what feels most appealing... (4/?)

that the target originally gave me to read a lot, I've rediscovered that joy, so this year I'm just going to see how I get on without it.

I've also decided to change how I choose which books I want to read from my tbr. I was strictly alternating between fiction and non-fiction, in order... (3/?)

help me to reach my target, not what would be enjoyable or fulfilling. I have also been avoiding reading magazines, comics, and zines because, if they don't have an ISBN then I can't track them on the app, then they "don't count" (I know, I know). I don't feel like I need the motivation... (2/?)

Absolutely - collections like theirs are so important and they're definitely the right place for a piece of history like that!

That's a wonderful thing to do! Museums and archives benefit so much from things that people donate or loan to them, and it's especially important when it's something unique and you're able to donate it to just the right collection!

And me! I saw a few today too, so I'm hopeful...

I dread to think how much it will sell for, but wouldn't it make the most wonderful community centre (if some benevolent millionaire wants to buy it and donate it...)?

Also, the Dawn Chorus, just in general

Running down the side of Dune 45 in Namibia alongside 20-ish other people and the vibrations making the sand in the dune sing!

Love that lock - there's a painting of it in the round room at BMAG

I think it's always going to hold a special place in the hearts of a lot of us - that was such a wonderful moment!
