All sylvari are female. The males of their species are trees. The trees are sentient, but it's a non-human sentience, and they're very slow and deliberate. They're also not mobile or animated, they're not ents.

There are also elementals, who are technically halflings as well, half human, and half nature spirit. These are much less common and tend to live far from civilization. The best known are sylvari, tree-women.

Humans and halflings can breed, their offspring are "blooded" (cat-blooded, for instance), and look mostly human but have a few animal traits. Halflings cannot breed with halflings of other types.

Denmark has a stream that marks the border to the elf kingdom. If a Danish King crosses that stream the King of the elves will kill him. No King has ever actually tested the theory.

I'm still curious about fallen angels, plural. So Lucifer was the first, but have there been others? And does Vaggi count as a demon now, or is she in the same class as Luci, albeit much, much lower ranked?
