We were told to trust them, that we’ll eventually see we were making a big deal out of nothing. An absolute insult to the intelligence of anyone who understands their words don’t line up with the actual language of this bill and resists trusting any government’s word.

In addition to abandoning their duty to consult with First Nations on the development of this bill, the NDP took every opportunity to gaslight any voices raising valid concerns about this bill.
