I had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with Carla Hayden when I was still at the Smithsonian, and I was struck by how… chill she was. I’ve met librarians in less prestigious positions with A MILLION % more ego than she had. She’s truly the peoples’ librarian. I hope LC pushes back on this crap
