My latest DIY manicure is my take on clean girl soap nails: dish soap nails! I’m proud of this set because it’s the cleanest application of extensions I’ve done (holding the tips with tweezers is a GAME CHANGER)

My husband and I love to eat our meals in the back yard staring at the love of our lives. That’s why I sit facing the vegetable garden and he sits facing the back house he converted to his recording studio

Mid-month, I caught myself saying “I’m in a reading slump,” though that wasn’t true at all. I enjoyed what I read in April, but had only one pick that was a “fun” read. That said, I know I’ll be thinking about these books for a long time AND I get the hype around The Murderbot Diaries now!

Yeah no shit Thomas. Maybe it's less attention grabbing because it's a one-source speculational nothingburger.

People are being disappeared off the street & fired by the tens of thousands and these pundits cannot stop finding excuses to act like left-wing illiberalism is a threat to democracy

Had a wholesome bike/train commute earlier this week during which I showed a high schooler my kindle (he asked if it was a book, I showed him how it worked, he said it was cool 😎) and answered another commuter’s questions about the BikeLink lockers at my neighborhood train station

I’ve already forgotten how good March was for me for reading! I’m new to reading literary fiction and non-fiction, but had a five-star read in each of these genres last month. Still had time for some fun page-turners too, of course!

There’s a lot to love about @thestorygraph.com; really, there is! I love the buddy reads, stats, progress tracking, challenges, and, most important, that they are independent but for the love of all things reading their UX needs work.
