Kingswood market has some fresh produce for good prices - watermelon, apples, green grapes, carrots.

I just got 4 striploins, 12 pork chops, a few lbs of chicken tenders, deli ham and strawberries for $65.

I peeled the large ones; small were left whole. As they cooked down I added more, then used immersion blender to smooth out the texture.

Annual tomato sauce making day yesterday was a success! (I’ve made a couple small batches too)

Was able to make it entirely out of the garden this year and it’s delicious!

Folks. Stop shopping in Bayers lake. Go to Dartmouth or stay home.

This is all I've found...less than I had hoped for.

I can hear drizzle on tree leaves and tinkling in the gutter, feel it on my face, and see the dampness on the ground.

I can smell the smoke from Bayers Lake too.

So incredibly grateful for this weather.

What a great beach day. The kids built an amazing sandcastle (I helped a bit, making those towers is fun!), and the water was clear with a decent surf to play in.

Not common, or a common nighthawk, but just last week a huge hawk got into our chicken coop.

I actually thought it was a young eagle at first.

I just realized I didn’t respond to this! I just checked and didn’t see a label. But I think they are just sealy posturepedic.

Basic, no frills, typically in stock, in the warehouse. Blue sides and white top.

Got them ~5 & ~7 years ago. Doubles for $299, box spring was $199.

I had to get creative due to a power outage yesterday. Thankfully the turkey finished.

You’d be just like Bartholomew Cubbins! (This is a favourite story in my house)

Used up the veg on its last legs in the fridge and put together a tasty lunch of veg and noodles with a peanut dressing.

As found on Facebook: free traction sand courtesy of Conrad Brothers. Corner of Montague and Waverly roads. Bring your own shovel and bucket.

You can contact the HRCE transportation team about concerns. The more details you have the better - date, time, location. Each bus has a number printed on a sheet of paper. It should be posted in the windshield.

Walmart too, though not as steep as superstore.

Amazon? I’m not sure if this is a family sized package or not, but under $3 seems decent.

My neighbourhood has consistently recommended GP Appliance Repair for years. I’ve never used their service though.

Yep. I believe it includes septic, water, garbage and street snow removal.

It’s also a 2bedroom mini home.

I’m no expert, but I do enjoy wine, especially some local N.S. wine. Happy to share some of my favs.

But I honestly think the bottle you picked will be a lovely gift!

It’s finally beginning to look and smell and feel like Christmas around here!

Tree has stopped dripping with melted snow, which is dry enough for me.
