Had a great time hanging out in The Flipper Room, a Concord frame shop that's also ... a pinball arcade? (They blend together perfectly.)

119 years ago, the great earthquake shook San Francisco and ignited a fire that consumed more than 25,000 buildings.

6 weeks later, a photographer rigged a camera to kites to see what remained.

I guess it was only a matter of time before Ragnar turned itself into an ultra. But (as someone who will never tackle one solo) the best part of Ragnar is it's race, a slumber party and a camping trip rolled into one. Doing it by yourself, just ain't the same.
