Absolutely amazing two days in London at the Teaching Further Maths 1 study days. I will never get over how inspiring it is to watch a group of teachers work hard, support each other and really push themselves for the entire day. Applications for Spring courses open now 😁

On Tuesday the boy who made me a mum will be 24. I was 21, had to take a year out of uni & had no idea how it would turn out. 19 years later he quit medicine after a year, took a year out & had no idea how it would turn out. It's all turning out great ❤️😁

35 years ago my beautiful cousin Rebecca was born. She died 4 days later and left a hole in our family forever. Happy birthday Rebecca - I will always wonder who you would have been ❤️

Good luck to my lovely boy and all the students taking TMUA today and tomorrow. My son is focusing on enjoying the maths. He has been super lucky to be supported my @meimaths.bsky.social Problem Solving Matters course and also the new on demand course for TMUA ❤️

One of the absolute highlights of my job is leading on the mA*ths and Further mA*ths programme. Today I am at Imperial uni having lots of fun with complex number 😁

Today, at the grand old age of 45, I got my first tattoo. My son and I got matching ones and I love it (and loved having it done!) My little Manchester worker bee is so cute and I love her but she needs a name - suggestions welcome 😍

My amazing daughter has swum 671 lengths - one for every 10 miles from our house to Nairobi where she'll be travelling with school next year to do volunteering and have an amazing adventure! She is fundraising to go so if you can and would like to donate she would appreciate it 😍

6 years ago, after spending the morning at A level results day, I married my best friend. We had just 9 guests and it was perfect. We have had another tricky year but as usual we have squeezed every drop of joy out of it that we can. I know who I married 😍
