I was sad to hear about Gene Hackman’s death. What is your favorite role he ever played? Personally, I love him in The Firm and in Hoosiers, but my favorite has got to be Young Frankenstein.

I have always loved Genesis 16 when Hagar names God. I love that she names Him El Roi. And it wasn’t until this week that the second part of that verse hit me: “In this place, have I actually seen the one who sees me?”.

🧵: I saw someone today that I couldn't place where I knew them from. After some time, I remembered. I used to donate plasma twice a week and this guy was there usually at the same time every week. The reason I remembered him was because I was sitting waiting to be called back one day and he was

People here in Houston are all happy about the weather changing again and warming up and I am NOT. With warm weather comes many things I don’t enjoy but the biggest one is MOSQUITOES. Have we forgotten?!

I’m not sad about the sunshine though.

Authenticity with all. Transparency with most. Intimacy with some.
