Last week, the Oregon House of Reps passed House Bill 2010, with a vote of 40-15. It’s a bipartisan bill that would ensure ongoing funding for the state’s Medicaid program, Oregon Health Plan (OHP) if Congress cuts funding. 1/3 of Oregonians receive OHP, and more than half the children in our state.

Have you heard? There’s a new bill that makes it harder for millions of eligible Americans to vote. Join me and @standupamerica.bsky.social in urging Congress to vote NO on the SAVE Act: act.standupamerica.com/letters/no-o...
Vote NO on the SAVE Act!
The SAVE Act is a trick to undermine our voting rights. Urge Congress to vote no on the SAVE ACT.

Daily reminder that it’s the entire party, not just the the three stooges (Mango, Muskrat, and Hillbilly), who are responsible for what is happening. If you don’t call the entire GOP out as group for destroying safety, well being, and “egg prices” in the US, the weaklings will keep obeying.

LDS folks: I encourage you to leave the church over restrictive policies introduced for trans folks, including not being allowed to work with children or sleep over at camps, and support of what equals conversion therapy. Other denominations, please do the same if it supports such policies.

Folks: I am NOT affiliated with the group that is using my name to support an economic boycott. Please spread this post, if you would.

Those who get very bent out of shape because of the use of preferred pronouns are very often the same people who like to call others "snowflakes."

Unfortunately….it is unlikely they will ever understand the irony.

Smart move with the breach of access to our SSI: Lock or freeze all three credit reports, asap. You can contact each of the three credit bureaus (Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion) and can request a credit lock or freeze online, by phone, or by mail. I did it online 4 months ago, took five minutes.

Hi! Trying to spend more time here, not the other place. I will say that if I peep your page and you show TFG’s face a lot, I won’t follow you back. I don’t want to see his face or hear his voice. Folks can discuss their hatred of him and action against him without showing him. Just my two cents.

i think it is important to say that the open and explicit racism of the president and the vice president isn’t just uncouth or “controversial” but a direct attack on tens of millions of americans and a dereliction of their duty to represent the entire country

Today’s show was my last at CNN. My closing message: It’s never a good time to bow down to a tyrant… don’t give in to the lies. Don’t give in to fear. Hold on to the truth… and hope.

Should we say it everyday until they shift? Dem politicians on socials: We don’t want “stating the obvious bad things GOP did” posts without you giving us ACTIONS you & your party will take to counter it IN THE SAME POST. Stop rage baiting for clicks, TELL us how you will help & advocate for us.

In my alternate universe, he and Kamala Harris are planning these things for all of the US. Man, we are missing out…
Our 2025 Infrastructure Plan invests in:

- Clean drinking water
- Modern infrastructure
- Public safety
- Safe and affordable housing

It’s a plan that will make Minnesota the best state to live and work.

Good news in Seattle: 84 year old U.S. District Judge John Coughenour, who was appointed during the Reagan Administration, is a man we get to celebrate today. Thank you and hold steady for the Feb 6 hearing.

Litmus test: If you go to church this Sunday and they’re celebrating the new administration and/or criticizing the incredible words of Rev. Mariann Budde, find a new church, stat. Any true teachings of Jesus and Gods would echo my sentiments.

Whether you stay on Meta platforms and TT or not, the stunts they pulled blocking liberal terms & making us auto-follow oligarchs are a reminder that THIS is where you’ll be able to better organize, support democracy, and provide info to immigrants and others about raids, safety, protests, etc.

Advice: When referring to awful things DT does, EO’s he signs, lies he tells, etc… say/write, “The GOP did (blank) today.” They NEED to be called out AS A GROUP for the atrocities. Gives a better chance GOP reps who want to resist & vote against him may do so, in attempts to not be grouped with him.

Proud to be an Oregonian employed by our govt this week as Oregon mandates training for us to ensure we do not cooperate with GOP deportation plans. We are also implementing all user signs for single stall restrooms (via an executive order), an effort I’m directly project managing. Little glimmers!
