Agents told him his visa was revoked. He said he had a green card. They were confused—then said that was revoked too.
His attorney demanded a warrant. Agents hung up instead.

Me too (my dad). I've known plenty of people who did everything to "work the system" and I've never seen this scam. If it was remotely common, you know we'd see scandalous headlines about it, every time someone got caught. People using "borrowed" #s to pay in, and get nothing back, though...
