Pilgrim's Progress, Narnia, The Lord of the Rings, the Wind in the Willows, all include places of restoration along difficult journeys, the Beavers' house, Badger's house, Rivendell, and Palace Beautiful. For me, and many others, Windstone is that kind of place in real life.

I’ve contributed a couple poems to this children’s anthology being funded through a kickstarter. The second reward tier “Bottleship” is named after one of my entries. It’s going to be a beautiful book! www.kickstarter.com/projects/ban...

I've been enjoying Malcolm Guite's readings from "A Christmas Carol" with the membership on his YouTube channel. I did some doodling during the last stave.

Hey Lewis people, do you know if anyone has written about Lewis’s “law of undulation” in connection to the medieval idea of the wheel of fortune? Or generally how Lewis writes about that pattern? If someone has already explored this I would love to read that.

Just saw Wicked, and I thought it was pretty great, but the animal oppression plot doesn't seem to belong in the same story that the songs do.

If I asked you to recap the last book you read, I'm sure you'd be able to tell me. (I would!)

If I asked you to recap your last hour of social media scrolling, you probably wouldn't do any better than I would at the same question.

Anyway, food for thought, enjoy that scroll.

This ladle catches all the sharks in the dark
before they darken our door.
This broom sweeps the garbage from the ocean floor.
This coral castle swallows swells above you and me
as we sleep in the deep of the sea.
