And the really fun part is to go back and look at HOW MUCH EXTRA MONEY we’ve saved this month. It feels good to be more conscious about my own personal spending, and to be more conscientious about WHO gets my dollars

Like, I really thought it would be much more difficult, but turns out, most of my shopping needs can be met with a combo of local grocery stores, thrifting, or just foregoing the impulse buys.

I have also DRAMATICALLY scaled back from shopping @walmart and @amazon. Currently organizing myself to cancel Prime. Again, it’s taken surprisingly little effort.

And as much as I haaaaaaaaaaaate the shopping experience at Costco, I have shopped there more frequently in the past 6 weeks.

I’ve drastically cut back on spending at Walmart and Amazon as well. I’ve been doing 95% of my grocery shopping at my local grocery store.

There was one flying near me in KC during the election season. At some point after the election, the flag holder broke and the flag hung upside down. I noticed a few weeks ago that they finally took it down and did not rehang it.
