This. This. This. My elementary aged kiddo trained himself to never use the bathroom ALL school day for fear he’d be in the bathroom during a lockdown. 😫 Aside from the obvious health risk this poses, how is he supposed to focus on learning?

Yeah, the small print to actionable and direct is also that canceling Disney was relatively painless. We have to be willing to give up some comfort if we’re going to do more.

And because Tylenol is one of the only pain and fever reducers safe for pregnant women, it also supports the idea that good mothers (potential mothers, women…) should suffer willingly.

A theology professor of mine at a Christian University said something to the effect of: a lot of pastors are further left than their congregations could handle if they knew. I don’t know how accurate that was - but I haven’t forgotten it.
