Of course I won't shy away from the difficult things either but when I feel like nothing I do is good these things are nice to fall back on.

Then I can let go of that and just be creative without worrying about what is right or wrong as much. And still get results that I think look good.

Exactly. I think removing the ability to erase is freeing in a way.

When I can erase every mistake stops my progress because I have to fix it. But with ink you have to be creative and work around it. Rather than a hindrance, your mistakes become a part of the creative processes. It's rather nice.
