Exactly. I understand the anger, I'm a disabled lesbian, my whole life is under threat. But I'm not gonna lose empathy. The same folks want to talk about building community but fail to realize the solution to this is holding space and community for folks that you may not like or agree with. 1/2

Measles is not a way to hold "voters" accountable. Diseases don't magically target people bc of who they voted for. All of us suffer from this.

Hi immunocompromised lesbian here. First these kids didn't cause harm to our community they are literally children who don't get to choose their parents and do not have the autonomy to make their own choices. Secondly it WILL impact our community because surprise immunocompromised queer folks exist

Also folks who are most vulnerable, like children, the elderly, immunocompromised, will suffer. It does not just impact anti-vaxxers. It impacts the whole community.
