Nazi Pigs Fuck Off!
Third creature for #Bestuary
This prompt was "Dwarf-like Mole", which, aside from build and some bipedalism, I wasn't sure how to implement into the design. Maybe talking on their behaviors when I have more brain power will do?

#Bestuary part 2! Quetzalcoatl! For the most part, I took inspiration from traditional depictions of the Feathered Serpent, mostly with the colors.

My first submission for this year's #Bestuary
This first one I rolled 'bai ze', which is something I've actually designed a few times before, taking a primarily feline route. This time, I decided to do a primarily bovine design, with a green mane and eye spots on it's side.

After a bit of a break spent cleaning and organizing irl, I bring the 4th of my base fusion critters: Maji! It's unknown what they look like beneath their cloaks and hats, as they cannot be removed, and are likely part of their bodies! They floats, cast spells, and enjoy stargazing.

Here we have Grubby, a large larva-grub-caterpillar-thing with lots of potential! It can produce silk to bind prey and attackers, easily climb vertical surfaces, and roll into a ball to flee danger!
April 8, 2025 at 5:10 AM
Second one of my base fusion critters, this is Tads, a little polywog who wiggles and wobbles and hops around. Also about the size of a puppy. What will it become? How will it develop? Who knows!

First of these base creatures, we have Boanz, a diminutive skeleton, undead-type creature that holds a deep emptiness. They seek to fill this emptiness with whatever they can, whether it be through consumption or discipline.

I know I don't post very much here, but I DO, in fact, draw more than just personal creature designs.
Admittedly, it's mostly still more creatures stuff, like Pokemon and MonHun, but also some other things like CotL and OCs/sonas (feat. a previous incarnation of @eepyeon.bsky.social)

Hallo! Sapph am follow!

#Decembeast 11: introducing the Triclops Zappybara, a large rodent with lightning magic and a crystal growing on it's forehead which strongly resembles a third eye. It's teeth are orange thanks to a layer of iron, like with beavers.

#Decembeast day 10: the Shiisa! The actual main beastie of Corrina's story and her main partner. They have a natural aura of curse-negation that exists on their shed hair, which unfortunately makes them targets of poaching. Now a special license is required to tame one.

For #Decembeast part 9, I bring the Skipping Fowl, a chicken-related bird with the ability to teleport short distances to evade predators! Before doing so, they press their tail feathers together and sway them in a serpentine manner to resemble a cockatrice for intimidation.

#Decembeast part 8 brings us the Greater Mountain Squatch, aka my take on a yeti. These 4-armed, gorilla-like macaques dwell on snowy mountaintops and regularly descend for food from the forests below the snow line. They're also fairly peaceful and try to avoid conflict.

I return to #Decembeast for part/day 7! I introduce a simple yellow bear that I originally designed when Winnie the Pooh's original books went public domain. They look grumpy but are fairly peaceful.
It's called a Pooh Bear

#Decembeast Day 6! Still going sorta strong! I bring y'all the bunyip! Originating from Australian folklore, this beast dwells in rivers and swamps to lunge at unsuspecting prey like a gator!

#Decembeast Day 5! I present my own kind of Behemoth! In the wild, these guys are highly aggressive, territorial, and vindictive. Domesticated behemoths are called 'orcish cattle' because orcs were the ones to domesticate them.

#Decembeast Day 4! The Hydra Tsuchinoko/Copper Hydra! This chonky serpent rolls around and uses it's body to constrict it's prey. It's also very docile and makes a decent pet.. Well... If you're good at handling large reptiles, anyway.

#Decembeast Day 3, just a little bit after midnight because work eats up time, the Wampus Cat! It races through the forest on 6 mighty legs in pursuit of it's prey with thick bones that resist impact.

#Decembeast Day 2, a liiiiittle bit late submitting this, but meet the Saltwater Gyuuki (which can live in fresh and brackish water too). They mainly hunt shellfish, sea urchins, and small fish.

December 3, 2024 at 8:17 AM
#Decembeast Day 1 complete! Meet the Grassland Hammerbeak, an endurance pursuit predator that uses it's strong neck and proportionally massive beak to viciously crush prey. They are also opportunistic scavengers that can eat any part of a carcass, flesh and bone.

Okay! Officially, my new challenge, #decembeast, starts today, and, while I am still kinda lacking prompts (which I'll rectify next year if I make this a yearly thing), but I think I've got an idea of what I'm doing!

For now, meet Corrina, my 5'6" human measuring stick.

Days 29-31!
It was a fun challenge, I enjoyed it, folks I showed these creatures to really loved them, and it got some of my creative muscles working!
It's gonna be a bit before I do another challenge like this again, but next time I'll certainly be posting here as I do it!
