He/him. I'm Jester. Just someone who likes to play video games. Will mostly just reblog neat fan art & funny memes I see. Enjoys Kirby, EarthBound, Bug Fables, Yu-Gi-Oh, and RPG Maker games. Sometimes makes video playthroughs of demos & short games.
"Geo, why am I on the keyboard?"
"Geo, how am I supposed to play this?"
"Geo, I have no hands!"

Finally got my review written. Gosh writing reviews is so hard. Not the best review, but certainly better than first one I did ( I still need to rewrite that). The opening line is definitely my favorite part

Not many people can say they have 100% completion on a game before it even releases ehehehe

The game may only be out for less than a day but I can vouch for its quality, because I've already played it! I was lucky enough to be a playtester for the game. It was such an honor to find oversights and help make sure Silver Daze would be the best game it could be by launch.

Today's the day! #SilverDaze has released! If you like story-driven RPGs, card collecting, amazing music, and lightbulbs wearing hats, then I definitely recommend you buy the game (or at least check out the demo). Shoutout to Sawyer, Brian, Natan, and everyone else on bringing this game to life!

#SilverDaze launches tomorrow! If you haven't had a chance to try it yet, the demo (which covers the first chapter of the game) is on Steam.

Here is one of my favorite exchanges from the demo.

Yo, I got my kickstarter rewards for backing Silver Daze! The envelope seems to barely survived the trip, with the card holders popping out at one end (must be going for a Low Ride + Storm strat). I got cards, a smoking Geo pin, & a letter! Thanks, Sawyer! Happy to do what I can to support the game!

Okay, so the glitch letting Geo escape the ReCollection was sadly fixed, as expected, but on the bright side, we still have this visual glitch when jumping on a block in front of another block

In case anyone other than me is interested, here are the names of all the Silver Daze demo enemies.
June 16, 2025 at 4:16 AM
I've just learned that the names of enemies in Silver Daze can be revealed by using SmokeBreak. As someone who loves learning enemy names, I'm ecstatic. Time to start blowing smoke in everyone's faces!

Fun fact, if you complete the ReCollection a second time, you keep Geo! Thanks for the wish, Tefka. Maybe I was wrong to distrust her.

Updated reference of the robot enemy I made from a few weeks ago. Besides having an image for each direction, the only changes are a slight saturation increase and the bottom of the jet pipes widening a little bit. The robot is named "Troublemaker" as the die-in-a-bubble comes from the game Trouble.

I was playing the demo for MOONSHIRE (an action adventure game) and I found what I assume is a glitch. Normally before fighting the boss there is a cutscene & the arena changes to prevent you from escaping, but attacking her offscreen starts the boss fight with no music change & no arena change.

I pledged the Monster Maker tier for Silver Daze's Kickstarter, so I've been working on my enemy for a while. I'm not really an artist, so I mocked up my enemy in Blender, with some editing in GIMP (I'm also not a Blender artist). Colors may need adjusting, but I'm happy. It's a dice-themed robot!

Holy shit it's fully funded!

It's Valentine's Day, which means it is time to bring back this Dededelightful classic. From me to all of you.

I'm gonna play through the Silver Daze demo again and use the new Festivity card. Using a card to stall a turn will be useful to remove stat debuffs.

Oh. Oh no.

@gem-games.net Sawyer, I have another bug report to fill out

I was comparing the file changes with the latest Axial 2 patch, and my greatest fear has been realized: we lost the huge number when being attacked with Melt (now the only Melt; the Plasma-element one was changed to Whisp)! The big number was so fun to watch, even with the missing decimal point.
January 19, 2025 at 5:06 AM
Fun Axial fact: when attacked by the Heat-element Melt attack (there are 2 Melts), which damages both HP and MP, a huge amount of MP is displayed as reduced after the attack animation and then your actual MP is reduced such that the value uses a decimal, which otherwise never happens.

It's that time of year again! It's almost Christmas!

A fun thing about Silver Daze's reveal is looking back at the foreshadowing in Axial
