More faithful than Unbound (low bar), less faithful than the Branagh take, but that's honestly not a bad balance. It was extremely Del Toro in its meditation on the nature of monsters, and that is exactly what I wanted from it. :)

Excellent. Peak glorious camp horror that manages to not only be great but to elevate the source material, with some of the best kills in the entire horror genre.
