I've come to dislike how some people talk about 'themes' in fiction either by reducing this concept to 'the meaning of work' or by using single-noun descriptors as if they have a word limit. Both approaches serve only to restrict and stifle discussions around a given piece.

In an attempt to cleanse my spirit and move on heres my 1 am ramblings on finishing the winter chapter of flowers, and with it the whole of the series. In the simplest terms: I loved it. Im not sure if it was the best necessarily because it does have issues, but I do think its my personal favorite.

It really saddens me that nearly all artists that draw great FLOWERS art reside exclusively on Twitter or, at best, on Pixiv, and will probably never hop on Bluesky. The Flowers fandom is tiny, so it makes perfect sense that those creators are probably real anxious about losing their audience.
