I never understood the meaning behind the movie, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, now I do. Given the right circumstances, certain people can get away with everything. The two main characters in the movie broke every law while drugged out with no consequences, because our system is completely inept.

It's hard to say your final goodbye to a pet, but at least they peacefully passed on from this world. Our cat, Toppi was a wonderful cat. He was a very free spirited guy, and loved being around people including strangers. RIP Toppi.

Got hit by a car today. Luckily it was literally the best of best case scenarios. No damage to bike, and no damage to me. The car only barely hit my foot, and feels fine. I was shaken up though. The motorist made a right turn from the left lane, as I had a green, and hooked right into me.
