Watched a bit, only a bit, of the Mamdani/Trump love fest yesterday & thought after a few minutes that a group of hippies with flowers in their hair, peace signs, dancing around the room & tossing rose petals in the air. Very strange event!

i just read something about grief from C.S. Lewis and his book, “A Grief Observed”
basically, when someone you love dies, it isn’t just them that you miss, but the parts of yourself that person brought out of you that can never be brought out again.

Good morning everyone! CNN is talking about former V-P Dick Cheney has died at age 84. While there weren’t many of his political positions that I agreed with including him being supportive of more power for the president, he spoke strongly against Trump as does his daughter Liz!

I’ve been thinking (I know, that’s dangerous, eh!): how about Congress pass a law (of course after the MAGAts no longer have control) that requires SCOTUS appointees to sign a document wherein, if they contradict their pledge to be unbiased or lie in confirmation hearings they must resign?
