I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS ON COMPARISONS TO FUNDING OF PUBLIC UNIVERSITIES AT THIS SAME TIME. Like I knew various DoD projects funded universities at an insane rate during the Cold War, but JFC!! (From The Monsters We Make by Rachel Corbett. It is very good, I'm just reading it very slooooooowly)

Reading this book about how criminal profiling creates criminals (so far it's really good!) and I just have to stop and laugh my ass off over this list of the folks that one of the founders of the field wanted to study. Were there enough sword swallowers in the 1930s to warrant their own category???

My local library has their summer reading challenge set up for adults, so I get to earn virtual badges in addition to raffle entries. This year’s theme is Mythic Quests and the related badges are SO CUTE I CAN’T EVEN. I just got my yeti badge for reading 35 days! And I’ll get a Pegasus at 50 days 😍

Oh good, I’m glad I thought to mention it! Also idk if you use any kind of tin for needle storage, but I’ve got a few different ones that I use to keep my threaded needles separated by project and those also have stickers on them 😂

I don’t remember who it was, but someone on here was looking for suggestions for things to put stickers on that weren’t water bottles or laptops. I’m finally getting around to reorganizing the craft room, and may I suggest craft storage as an A++ place for them?
