First meeting with a new PCP and didn’t get fat shamed at all. God, such a low bar, but also I don’t think I realized how tense I was about this possibility until after hanging up from the Zoom and feeling my neck muscles unclench.

Today in “Set reads aspec romance novels” - Sometimes I feel like we asexuals need to add a few gradations to the “sex repulsed/neutral/positive” scale. Because like. Saying I’m sex negative sounds so dire when the reality is that it just sounds so fucking BORING that I’d rather watch paint dry???

Some days all I want is get a PhD in curriculum design so I have facts to back up my desire to yell at my faculty members about pre-reqs. But then I spend a lazy Saturday reading a new book and think instead about retiring from capitalism for the rest of my life. I am large, I contain multitudes 😂

On the one hand, I’d kill a man for a brownie. On the other, I’m actually too lazy to get up and make the box mix I’ve got in the pantry, so like. Is murder ACTUALLY easier than a three step box mix? Probably not, but also it’s a shame I didn’t think about dessert BEFORE ordering dinner 😭😭😭

I know that it's not a terribly uncommon last name, but I am kinda bummed to discover that there isn't any connection between the diamond Oppenheimers and the Oppenheimer of atomic bomb fame. It would make for a FASCINATING case study about which branch of the family caused the most harm.

Every once in a while I remember the pearl clutching about JFK being controlled by the Vatican and I just have to stop and die of giggles. I mean, the 60s weren’t quite peak liberal Catholics ignoring the Pope time, but like. IT WASN’T THAT FAR OFF.

ahahahahahaha omg. I don't know how wide-spread this is, but one of my Gen Z students just informed me that it's a trend to print out memes and carry them around in a wallet like "old people do with their family pictures." THE KIDS ARE OK Y'ALL.

I do, actually, understand why you'd need to specify if the popcorn is vegan, because many flavorings/toppings are milk based! HOWEVER. Describing it as "plant based popcorn" instead of "popcorn with plant based flavors" is just deeply hilarious. PRETTY SURE IT'S ALWAYS PLANT BASED YOU GUYS.

Dear 53, I wanna know what kind of a fraud hold on a credit card can ALLOW ME TO USE MY CARD FOR WEEKS, but prevent me from making a payment toward the balance?! I'm beyond baffled by all of this, just let me give you money without going through three different chats to find out what the issue was.
