Henry Hub pricing is running counter to the NG storage reports, running within 0.2% of 5 year highs.

My personal hope is that a mild winter offers better entry points in the NG E&Ps, when I'm ready to rotate from gold miners.

I've hiked cold weather with a béret basque. They're not like military berets, there's enough wool that one can pull it forward or to the side to shade eyes and ears.

And from Basque country to Northern Spain to Argentina...

Darin Morgan's episodes are all memorable moments.

Also, one of my favorite writing career trajectories: he started wearing a rubber suit, portraying a mutated flukeworm in S2E2.

Terrific resource. The passes near Palmerston North and offshore South Taranaki look especially prospective.

It's the leverage they're employing, from margin debt to leveraged ETFs to zero-day options that worry me. Seeking lottery-like gains, and I expect they'll experience lottery like returns: a few winners, but many losing all.

#26 box office of 1982 (higher than Blade Runner, The Road Warrior, or The Dark Crystal). More importantly, its a franchise Disney already owned the rights to.

It was a fairly significant film for 11 year olds that year. Many of us played the video game tie ins.

We blew through that threshold perhaps decades ago.

I mostly hope that with strenuous effort we might hold the line at 3°C. But I've been watching the space 35 years, and optimism is difficult.

Arid hot desert extending from ~30 °N to 60 °S, arid hot steppe from there nearly to the poles. Little patches of forest in the Arctic.

Other nations have found a better, more moral solution. Remove the middlemen and profiteers between us and clinicians. We spend more per capita on Medicare than other nations do insuring their entire population. That was a choice.

Thanks for bringing Vera Rubin to my attention. I'd known the discrepancy between galactic rotation rates and expectations from star density was key evidence for dark matter, but I didn't know who did the research.

Now for a Henrietta Swan Leavitt quarter.

Today, the UN General Assembly passed a resolution condemning Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, co-sponsored by Kyiv and EU nations.
