Tobias got to live a full life but had to experience the downfall of the gang, his only family that took him in after he was almost killed by the O’Driscoll’s and survived until the events of rdr1. Skill issue I guess

His dad eventually found out and got fired because of it and Tobias got in trouble with the O’Driscoll’s because he wasn’t able to give them information anymore. He technically wasn’t an O’Driscoll he was just like a messenger boy.
