Absolutely! Restrictions on pharmal companies required ads be accurate and not misleading. In 1997 restrictions were eased allowing pharma companies to advertise DTC - direct to consumers. Since then, ads have become ever more misleading and manipulative. The AMA supports stopping DTC ads.
