Hasn’t the Trump admin been largely ignoring or violating many court rulings thus far anyway?
At this point in time, neither SCOTUS nor Congress are even willing to force the executive branch to abide by anything.
Much of this feels like theater for the GOP base.

She used what power she had to issue a 48-hour stay for the circuit court to rule. If she denied the stay and it went to the full SCOTUS, the 6 Trump justices would have voted for an *indefinite* stay order.
The whole situation is shit, but that’s the best possible outcome in this situation.
