I'm not sure a huge amount of Monster Care Squad third party content actually got made (some did) but the program ultimately led to me working with @jnb.art and @leaftilde.bsky.social much more closely and regularly, a gift I'd have happily paid three times for the privilege.

Royalties let people accumulate a regular income in a way we don't allow for yet and that's an angle we really don't talk about (because we center publishers and the concerns of the book way more than the professional life of our contributors!)
