I’m horrified by the murder of two Israeli embassy staffers at an event in DC last night.

The fact that the gunman said he did it to “free Palestine” makes me nauseous. Murdering people for their nationality is never acceptable and this violence hurts Jews, Israelis, *and* Palestinians.

What starts with banning books and mistreating librarians?
Fascism.
Reporter: The president fired the Librarian of Congress. Why?

Leavitt: There were quite concerning things she had done at the Library of Congress in the pursuit of DEI and putting inappropriate books in the library for children.

Thanks to the advocacy of Black Alabamians and organizations like @allontheline.bsky.social, Black voters in Alabama will continue voting in fair congressional districts that allow them to elect candidates of their choice. This is a win for Alabama, and proof that progress is possible.

The court-ordered map, used in the 2024 elections, resulted in Alabama electing two Black representatives to Congress for the first time in history.

Why is ICE wearing masks? What are they hiding?

The Mayor of Newark was arrested at an ICE facility—when elected officials showed up, masked agents roughed them up, including an 80-year-old congresswoman. Why?!

President Trump is looking for a scapegoat for the higher costs and economic damage caused by his tariff taxes. Blaming Fed Chair Powell and politicizing a critical independent institution to deflect blame is dangerous—and the American people deserve better.

Pope Francis was a visionary leader who dedicated his life to service and justice. He encouraged us to protect our planet, championed a more inclusive church, and cared for all of God’s children — especially the most vulnerable among us.

Doug and I join the world in mourning his loss.

We lost the only true moral leader on the world stage.

It's immense.

But Pope Francis led by listening to the grassroots, lifting up the people's demands.

He put "ecological debt" in the climate encyclical, a concept that emerged in Ecuador's oil-poisoned jungle.

Millions of leaders remain.
