Briefly sat on the Capitol steps with @booker.senate.gov and @hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social (and @maya4rights.bsky.social and @rweingarten.bsky.social!). The proposed budget takes food out of the mouths of hungry children, denies them healthcare. As they say repeatedly, the budget is a moral document.

Look, Rome is burning, but good things still exist. DC Gov's DPW Electronics/shredding drop today off was delightful. Organized, friendly staff, and I even got 2 compliments on my hair! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Continuing to torture myself with this gorgeous (yet painful) prophecy... I used to think we were frogs being slowly boiled, but now I'm pretty sure we're lobsters, just refusing to admit it to ourselves. Whew!
