Vintage chip bag with false label. Artist unknown. The graphics are inspired by Big Grab sized bags of Ruffles. It’s a “Big Scab” bag of Spud Monsters, “America’s Worst Chip.” “Guaranteed Stale” “Tastes Like Shit” Net weight: “10 LBS. SHIT IN A 5 LB. BAG” This bag has a mascot next to the Spud logo, a potato with arms and legs charging at the viewer with a fist raised. His mouth is open, frowning, and filled with sharp teeth. There are realistic ruffle-cut potato chips on center of the label. The bag has some crunchy crumbs in it. It was found by my wife in a box of old record albums in Corte Madera, CA.
