Next year, the EU will require cars to have buttons & dials -- not just touchscreens -- to get a top safety rating.
This is a great move. Drivers can fiddle with knobs & buttons without taking their eyes off the road, but they can't do that with touchscreens.

So now that Trump has banned trans people from participating in sports and trans teens from getting transition-related care, all of the "but we just have some concerns" people will surely come out strong in opposition to additional attacks on trans rights, yes? No? Ah well, nevertheless.
