I used to have a recurring dream that I would find a hidden stash of comics and magazines in a lower drawer space at the back of the 5 and dime I used to frequent as a kid in the 1970s.

It's where i had bought my MARVEL SUPER SPECIAL editions of STAR WARS, CLOSE ENCOUNTERS, and HOWARD THE DUCK.

I FEEL even older...
More like THE AGED GENGHIS!

Today's DOCTOR STRANGE garment:

This week, I'm showcasing shirts to which I have some kind of gripe.
But I 😍 almost everything about today's. Almost.
The cover to DOCTOR STRANGE v4 #15
Kevin Nowlan art is fantastic! The print job is sublime (a 2nd pass over it prints the eye).

I'd hazard a guess that Ivanka was a victim too... being groomed by him and she probably learned to just lean into it, for she was his favorite and would reap dividends.

It would be great if SHE were the one to finally stick the knife in, but...
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Today's DOCTOR STRANGE garment:

Keeping with the theme this week of disappointment in SOME aspect of the design is THIS tee featuring art by Dave Cockrum (pencils) Tom Palmer (inks) taken from the cover to the 1980 Marvel Calendar

The cover was cool but this pose of DOC just doesn't do it for me.

Today's DOCTOR STRANGE garment:

As I dislike the Doctor Strange figure on yesterday's shirt, so do I too dislike this figure.

The reasons? Twofold:

Funko Pops are a plague.

The shirt (like the early figures) has brown hair. Doctor Strange has black hair with silver at the temples.

Otherwise ok

I got my candidate's pin, at the ready!

I'm afraid you're mistaken.

Both Len Wein & Chris Claremont have stated, on record, that Thunderbird was created to die. To create shock value and unease that ANYONE could die at any time.

Here are two pages from the X-MEN COMPANION Vol. 1. Where they say exactly that.

Claremont regretted it tho.

Today's DOCTOR STRANGE garment:
This T-shirt with a pseudo-reproduction of the cover to MARVEL PREMIERE #3.

I've never been a fan of this cover.
The vignettes are great, as they are near identical panels of what's inside, but that main figure is meh.
Not Barry Smith's best work.

The story is good.

NO.
NO MORE.
NO MORE BENDIS!

They mention MICHELE MARSH as someone they miss.

She was a NY tv newscaster that Mark Gruenwald was obsessed with.

She was made into a marvel Character, named Michele MARCH.

That's awesome!
Thank you!

Oh, he's there... but looks more like Aunt May than her own Marvel Famous Covers Figure did.

The Beatles film HELP!, directed by Richard Lester, is ALL about a cult trying to kill Ringo... and bungling every attempt.

Agree!

Oh, and I forgot to mention...
The car with the 28IF plate...??
A Volkswagen BEETLE!
😳

If you see this, post an album cover with a motor vehicle on it.

My entry:
AL STEWART
MODERN TIMES (2 editions with slightly different photography)
Both show same scene slightly differently. Both feature DOCTOR STRANGE in the distance.

(It's a follow-up of PAST, PRESENT, FUTURE with Doc as well)

Is a good calendar.

I've got an insane collection of Marvel calendars.

Pretty much all of them up until relatively recently, where I got a little lax.

But I only keep the ones with Doctor Strange in them.

Here's the Doctor Strange spread for that year.
November 8, 2025 at 1:16 PM
OH... YOU'RE RIGHT!
I have that calendar and poster!
Haha
(Except, mine was from the 1994 calendar, and it's a poster insert that has the entire NEXT year [1995] at a glance)

It just looked different on that angle and in B/W

Who's a huge BEATLES fan?

THIS guy!

Today's DOCTOR STRANGE garment:

Well... since yesterday, I showed a shirt featuring the famous "The SEARCH" image from the interior of DOCTOR STRANGE v1 #171 (drawn by Tom Palmer), I thought it would be appropriate to show a shirt with the COVER to that issue, (drawn by Dan Adkins).
.

If you see this, post egg

Today's DOCTOR STRANGE garment:

This T-shirt featuring the phantasmagorical image often referred to as "THE SEARCH (for Clea)".

This famous image is by TOM PALMER ([pencils] & Dan Adkins [inks]) (not Ditko or Colan, whom people regularly misattribute it) is from DOCTOR STRANGE v1 #171

CURSE ME FOR A NOVICE!

I was rushing to post that entry because we kept losing power in a storm.

Its not from DOCTOR STRANGE v1 #158.
It's from STRANGE TALES v1 #158.

To make amends, I'll also post clearer views of the PINK FLOYD album art by Marie Severin, and Storm Thorgerson of Hipgnosis.

Today's DOCTOR STRANGE garment:

This cosmic scene featuring DOCTOR STRANGE & THE LIVING TRIBUNAL from DR STRANGE v1 #158, as drawn by Marie Severin!

The TRIBUNAL shows Dr. Strange the rapid fate of the Earth.

A scene made more famous by being the COVER to PINK FLOYD'S SAUCERFUL OF SECRETS album.
