There’s SO MUCH I wanna talk about with all these sequences. There’s reasons why I have specific camera shots and angles, why I have them act a certain way, whether it’s a creative choice or instruction. I’ll be making videos next year doing deeper breakdowns of these sequences.

Extra note! I love that everyone loves the Vox chibi’s in his slideshow presentation! I honestly drew them just as a placeholder, so I was very touched and surprised they kept them 🥹 I also wanted to give a number of slides that would seem like a lot, but not outrageously long, haha.

I had Vox standing on the desk to lead up to what was instructed: him sending electric shocks above him. I wanted the camera to follow it, removing all Vees from sight so the transition to the next shot flowed smoothly! The “V” electric strand was the FX animator’s doing! Love it! #hazbinhotel

I loved playing with Vox’s acting as he continued to monologue while Val and Vel’s acting though very subtle, it’s very effective. I also wanted to have Vox center-framed as much as possible!

These were specifically instructed by Viv: a particular hologram in the middle ground, Vox’s very cool, evil camera shot, and Val’s very serious thinking-then-point poses!

As I’ve stated in a previous post, I act out the scenes myself to see how it flows naturally! Christian’s performance was amazing for this and I’m the type of person who doesn’t like repeating herself either, haha. Figured Vox would be the same. I also added a note for him to have an eyebrow twitch!
