Ohhh I love this episode of TNG, it’s the one where Troi can’t read the suspicious guest star’s thoughts, but can tell they’re definitely holding something back.

When I saw John Wick 4, me, my mate, and a measly ONE other guy seemed to get the joke. I think general audiences think those films are meant to be 100% serious without a hint of tongue-and-cheek and that must be a much lesser experience.

Yeah, his objectives demonstrate his misunderstanding. In TV post, multiple discaplines are respected as specialised and part of a larger pipeline process. You would never be asked to animate within AVID, for instance. Then again, there's a high chance he already knows this & it's all for content.

I probably won’t continue watching it, as I’m clearly not the intended audience. Kids won’t make the same horrified face I did during the ugly, overblown spider bite sequence with dimensional portals. But if I continue hearing good things I may check in from time to time. 👍

I enjoyed a lot about the film but ultimately found it to be a relatively boring, overlong adventure that was way less cleverly humorous than previous entires. Adore the claymation efforts happening behind the scenes and the AI commentary, just wish it’d been funnier & more entertaining.
