Today my law firm filed to intervene to fight DOJ's lawsuits to access confidential voter data in Colorado and Hawaii. We are now fighting to protect our clients' sensitive data in 16 of the 18 cases filed by DOJ (plus Fulton County). I expect we will file in the remaining 2 (DE and MA) this week.

I still can't believe they're trying to make a war happen out of thin air. Not just their abrogation of Congress's role in formally declaring a war -- that's been a slippery slope for decades -- but their total unwillingness even to go through the motions of drumming up public support.

It’s wild that Trump and the Republicans are willing to try basically everything except actually making things less expensive for people.

Because they know if they show government can do that we’ll want it to do that more. #MedicareForAllNOW

President Trump says that checks for $1,776 each are going out to nearly 1.5 million servicemembers. I have questions.

+ When did Congress approve such a plan?
+ Where is the money coming from?
+ How is it non-taxable? Did Congress vote to do that?
I'm sure there must be specific bill text.

Hegseth has had no problem releasing videos of strikes on boats -- except the one that shows the second strike that killed two survivors clinging to the wreckage of a smashed vessel. That one, he says, is too "top secret" to release. @sangernyt.bsky.social www.nytimes.com/2025/12/17/u...

My take: troops in streets are troops in streets. “The military parade is a blatant adoption and celebration of authoritarian display. Given this is coupled with the deployment of troops to police American streets, by no means should it be considered as only optics”
