Great take but here’s something to keep in mind you mentioned Tim Kaine. The head of the AFGE, the biggest union supporting laid off federal workers, gave Kaine the blessing to vote Yes and they were pushing Senate Dems to vote for a clean CR. Did progressive groups like @indivisible.org know that?
