if we understand the tragedy -> farce dynamic as orders of magnitude on the Richter Scale, then this dynamic would be at the level of a super quake that would tear the earth asunder

really says it all. beyond the talking points and discourse, Biden was more fixated on himself and allowing Israel to do what they wanted to a captive civilian population than he was on stopping Trump.

And, just so we're being clear here, below is what Biden "won" for them:

Tell me, would you be happy with that? 3 sick days that aren't even in a contract and nothing done wrt precision scheduling (one of their core demands)? I wouldn't!

And this is all somewhat beside the point: the workers didn't want Biden to break the strike and bargain (read: impose terms) on their behalf, they wanted to use their power as workers to win what they felt their labor was worth.

It's still strike breaking either way!

Discouraged workers are up vs 2023 according to BLS. That's, what, a 15% increase?

And not once have I brought up 2010, so I have no idea why you're bringing it up now. Your average Joe on the street is not going to be pulling 2010 out of nowhere as their point of reference, dude.

You can tell the people who think we're living in the best of all possible economies are in the right because the only person who actually disputed my claims blocked me and ran away when I asked for any sources whatsoever after I volunteered to post some sources for my claims when I had time.
