The Viktor deck comes with one booster, and it's a generalized one, not blue/yellow to match. But the rare Ava Achiever I pulled is actually a potential match for the Viktor deck's lean on Hidden cards, so, go me.

Here, a peek at the pre-configured Champion Deck for Viktor. Lots of stuff. But I don't love that the included booklet gives only one kind of champion-specific advice: "maybe add these six cards." Like, if you're gonna go so far, add 1-2 pages on deck synergies! Also, this paper mat is meh.

I hate a cardboard mat, but it's good to have four verbose mats for first-time players. Also, this set comes with oversized "battlefield" cards, which really help for learning the ropes.

TCG time! My #RiftboundOrigins review set has arrived. It's a shame the $30 Proving Grounds starter set is already sold out everywhere, cuz at MSRP, it's a nice value. Four premade starter decks, nifty double-sided scoring tokens, cheap-but-info-filled player mats.
