Thank you for the thoughtful response! I think our cubes have pretty similar goals, and the big thing that jumps out to me is the point about removal density helping both fast decks and slow decks. I think upping that might lead to a better balance of race and standoff

I was expecting decision-dense games, but I was a little surprised the games trended more towards a standoff than a race, is that also the case in Atomic Cube?

Ooooo thanks for the tip, I've already stolen half a dozen cards from the list

Was hoping for slightly more races slightly less attrition but longer games in some capacity do seem inevitable 🤷 people liked it nonetheless!

- outside of the monored deck, the games went pretty long, which isn't quite my goal, but is probably inevitable

Big positive - players liked the gameplay overall, and noted its uniqueness. My playgroup doesn't really have an "old school" cube and this is very much filling that role

Takeaways
- Chrome (Mox) Diamond a step too far
- Armadillo Cloak clowned the monored deck in the finals, really need to mind the red/green matchup (sideboard cards in 16 card packs might help)
- don't feel great about the trophy deck being mostly GW value
