My grandfather, a lifelong Democrat, passed in 2017. One of the last things we did together was watch Obama’s farewell speech. That memory is burned into my brain and on this day I revisit it with profound sadness as we look towards another 4 years. I’m more scared this time than the anger of last.

I know it’s “just an app” but this feels like the first step in a much bigger loss of freedoms and rights… feeling unease and ashamed to be an American.
